Driving past Wheatland, Wyoming onto a winding dirt road, I passed by cattle ranches and green rolling bluffs as far as the eye could see for Tyler and Jen’s ranch wedding. I knew I was in for a treat as I pulled into Jen’s family ranch, a sentimental place where she was raised. Throughout the day, there were details highlighting Tyler and Jen’s love for fishing, the outdoors, and their love for Christ.
I loved how Jen’s beloved dog, Josie, was their flower girl and her adoption papers were signed by Tyler after their ceremony. Guests were given homemade jam and moonshine that Tyler and Jen crafted back at their home in Washington. The kid’s table at their reception included a tackle box full of fishing-inspired snacks and activities. There were so many unique details throughout the day that really gave you a sense of how thoughtful and creative Tyler and Jen are.
The wedding ceremony was held in the morning, followed by a beautifully crafted brunch of homemade breakfast burritos, bloody marys, and appetizers. The celebration continued at The Laramie Plains Museum in the afternoon, a historic place with a lot of character and western flair.
