Homegrown Wedding at River Bend in Lyons, CO

Nestled by the red rock cliff faces along the St. Vrain River, is River Bend, a wedding venue in Lyons, CO. This is a lush, tranquil wedding venue that encompasses so much of what we love about Colorado. Matt & Kelsey love Lyons, CO for mountain hikes, breweries, and some great bluegrass concerts. When it came time to pick out a wedding venue, River Bend was an easy choice!

Matt & Kelsey had their first look along the river bank, the sound of the babbling water was so peaceful. We also ventured out into the river for some of Matt & Kelsey’s portraits, which really showcased the couple’s fun spirit and sense of adventure.

One of many highlights from their day was when Kelsey’s niece sang “Heavenly Day” by Patti Griffin during their ceremony. It was angelic and had everyone moved to tears, including me!

This couple and their family mean so much to me, and I was honored to capture this wedding!
