Photographing Heli and Liam’s wedding at The Juniper Mountain House in Evergreen, CO was a special experience. This venue is stunning, each room is meticulously designed with a high-end ski town vibe, and you’re encompassed by a beautiful evergreen forest for your reception and ceremony. Heli and Liam wanted all of their closest friends to stay with them for the weekend, so most guests stayed at the venue, allowing everyone ample time to catch up and enjoy each other’s company, all while enjoying the gorgeous mountain views of Colorado. We had bursts of rain and thunderstorms throughout the day, Heli and Liam embraced the weather, and the light helped create the dreamiest portraits.

Heli and Liam didn’t want a lot of portraits of themselves, they are two of the most carefree people that I’ve worked with. Their main focus was for me to get all of the details of the day, lots of candids, and emotions. I adore this couple and everything they dreamed up for their Colorado forest wedding.
